Last night must have been the craziest night in Tembusu ever! Everyone was on full gear doing last-minute preparation for today's Open House. The energy in the air was simply amazing. I suppose if one had to choose one good thing about the build-up towards today's event it would have to be that: the pure energy and adrenaline of the event contributors. There were people buzzing from corner to corner of the college, others frantically touching up their booths and theme rooms; it really was an amazing sight to see so many people working towards one common goal.
Yet, as every yin has its yang, the excitement generated last night was counterbalanced with the worst night's rest in the college. Ever. At about half past three in the morning the fire alarm went off a whopping sixteen times (according to one source) for about an hour, not giving any moment's grace for us to catch up on our sleep. It was insane! I don't know how anybody slept through that, though there are a rare few who managed it. In any case it was a very eventful night at Tembusu, and definitely one to be remembered.
