Birds of the feather

I was determined to stay away from blogging until my examinations were over, but obviously I could not resist. Why? I noticed the most curious shift in Tembusu’s demographics at the dinner hall today. It almost appears as if the racial mix in Tembusu was changed overnight. There seems to be a flocking of some migratory birds, which, until the recent examination period, was not as pronounced as it is now.

I am not sure whether this flocking is seasonal, or if these birds had actually settled more permanently, but were simply invisible for most of the semester. (Or that I am imagining things…) I am betting on the former. There clearly is an influx of them in the commons and other study areas in uTown. It’s very strange that so many of them should appear altogether and all at once, but from what I see they are evidently living up to their industrious reputation.

Of course by now you also would have realized that this was a completely useless observation… but if you had taken a break from studying just to read this, then I am glad that you had indulged in these two minutes of uselessness as I did. Now get back to mugging, you.
